FAQ
WHO NEEDS STORMWATER INSPECTIONS?
Any construction site disturbing one acre or more of land, or part of a larger common development, typically requires regular stormwater inspections under the Georgia NPDES General Permit. Property owners and managers may also need inspections for ongoing BMP maintenance or redevelopment projects.
HOW OFTEN ARE STORMWATER INSPECTIONS REQUIRED?
For active construction sites, inspections are generally required once every seven days and within 24 hours of a storm event of 0.5 inches or more. We can help you set up a schedule that keeps you compliant and avoids violations.
WHAT ARE G-DOT CAMERA INSPECTIONS USED FOR?
G-DOT camera inspections are used to evaluate underground stormwater infrastructure, such as pipes, culverts, and drainage systems. They’re ideal for identifying blockages, structural issues, or damage that could impact flow and compliance with Georgia Department of Transportation standards.
ARE YOUR G-DOT CAMERA INSPECTIONS ACCEPTED BY STATE AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES?
Yes, we use state-approved equipment and follow inspection protocols that meet G-DOT and municipal guidelines. Our reports provide clear visuals and documentation that support permitting, repair planning, and maintenance efforts.
WHAT IS PFAS, AND WHY SHOULD I TEST FOR IT?
PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are man-made chemicals found in industrial runoff and contaminated water sources. Testing is essential to assess environmental risk, meet regulatory standards, and protect community health.
DO I NEED PFAS TESTING ON MY SITE?
PFAS testing is often recommended for industrial or manufacturing properties, sites near airfields or landfills, or locations undergoing environmental due diligence. If you’re unsure, we can help assess whether your site is at risk.
